What’s a “Dendro Relay” Anyway? Just Ask Campers in Roaring River.

Five employees from LP Roaring River spent a week in September 2006 teaching forestry lessons to 800 sixth-graders in Wilkes County, North Carolina, schools. It was part of the annual North Carolina Forestry and Environmental Camp, an event that Roaring River has supported for more than 10 years. LP foresters taught dendrology (tree identification)and judged the “Dendro Relay” event.
